A little bit about me
Welcome to my business, beautiful! I’m Melissa Novak, originally from Manhattan Illinois and am now proudly serving our Lincoln Way community and surrounding suburbs.
As a mom of three, I know exactly how important it is to feel special, pampered and beautiful in a relaxing ambiance. I’ve designed my studio suite salon experience in a way that will leave you feeling uplifted, relaxed, and more confident than you’ve ever felt before.
I've been a stylist for almost 20 years and have never been more in love with my clients or my craft. I specialize in grey coverage and dimensional color services and take great pride in the fact that I’m always taking advanced formulation and technique classes.
While most stylists offer a great first visit and solid maintenance care thereafter, I see my role as your stylist a bit differently. I work together with all my guests to create a long-term hair care plan to ensure their cut, color, and style always look fresh and there won’t ever be a time where you feel bored or stuck in a routine. I’ll be checking in throughout the year to see if any new issues have come up and we’ll work through them together.
When I’m not in the salon, I am always with the family. Every Friday night we celebrate the end of the work/school week by gathering around for Family night. If we can be outside doing something we are. But we also appreciate a fun game night or a chilling movie night. If we’re lucky we might get to video chat with my oldest son, who lives in Orlando Florida.
I have a secret obsession for anything chocolate and if you’re ever in the salon, you’ll often get to try my latest chocolate treat.
